Support for .Net 4.5

Love the project. AlphaFS & AlphaVSS are amazing! Thank you so much for taking the time to publish these.

Any plans to release an update that supports Stream.ReadAsync() and Stream.WriteAsync()?

Thank you, we appreciate the compliment!

No concrete plans, but we'll see what we can, do.

Would it be more proper to freeze current branch and make a release, fork it for 4.x branch with added TPL and it's tasks?

That may be a good idea. Seems like going forward most of the multithreading and asynchrony features will be following the TPL model as opposed to the APM model.

Do you have any plan to support async programming (.NET 4.5) model in the short term?

Thanks and congratulation for your great library.

this library is the low level wrapper.
and usually nobody puts any threaded or more complex logic in it. that would be up to the importing application to decide how to use it.

Hi Normalex,

Async doesn't imply multithreading.
The .NET 4.5 BCL contains async IO method (Stream), so I don't agree with you. Async method could be provided in a low level library as AlphaVS.
