AlphaFS | directoryinfo.delete() ending in period

Sep 24, 2013 at 4:35 PM

I just tried, in, the wonderful alphaFS to delete bad folder (too long, etc.) and everything work. Except one thing: deleting folder ending with a dot (".").

If two folder exist with the same name but one is ending with a period, calling "\?\UNC\SERVER\share\folder." will delete "\?\UNC\SERVER\share\folder" instead. If there is no "\?\UNC\SERVER\share\folder", it will say "folder not found".

But, the folder exist and I do a directory.exists check before and it return me that it exist, it means it's in the delete() function that there's a problem.

Doing a good old dos rd "\?\UNC\SERVER\share\folder." does work.

Hi nodiaque,

Is this with the stable or development build?
Could you try the development build in case you're using the stable build, to see if the problem is still there?

I'm currently on AlphaFS 1.5 from the download page, so it's the stable build. I'll try the dev build.

The current dev build (Changeset 106189) works fine.
