Thank you for pointing that out.

I think the latter part may be further re-written to kinda the following

dosPrefix = LongPathPrefix;
globalRootPrefix = LongPathPrefix + "GLOBALROOT"

One more question.

I read a little bit about the local Japanese and Korean code pages that display regular Windows directory separator char as Yen and Wong symbols.

Even though they still correctly act as separators, they were mapped to a different display char.

After aforementioned changes, they will act and look like the supposed correct backslash symbol, right?
